Introduction
Bhutan Livestock Development Corporation Limited (BLDCL) is a State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) established to work closely with the Department of Livestock (DOL) towards the development of Bhutan's livestock sector.
BLDCL serves as the commercial arm of the Government in enhancing the production and marketing of the country's livestock inputs and products to contribute towards national food security.
The Corporation works to strengthen domestic production, develop efficient value chains, support farmers and ensure that quality livestock products are accessible to consumers across the country.
Through its farms, aggregation activities, value addition initiatives and marketing channels, BLDCL connects producers and consumers while creating greater opportunities for farmers and strengthening the domestic livestock economy.
