The team from BLDCL is honored to meet His Excellency the hon’ble Minister, Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MoAL) on 27^th July 2026 to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing Bhutan’s livestock sector, with a particular focus on excess pork production.

We are grateful for the hon’ble Minister’s valuable guidance, encouragement, and strategic insights. The discussion highlighted the importance of strengthening market linkages, enhancing value addition, and working collaboratively to ensure a sustainable and resilient livestock industry.

We look forward to working closely with the Ministry to address these challenges, create greater opportunities for our farmers, and contribute to Bhutan’s food security and economic growth.
